What To Expect

When you visit, you can expect:

Worship: Expressing praise and adoration to God in community. When you visit, you can expect that we will glorify God through corporate worship blend of contemporary music and traditional hymns led by a choir and praise band. We also worship God together through expository preaching, Scripture memory, prayer, and periodically partaking in Communion.

Learn: Growing in knowledge of the Bible, the teachings and life of Jesus Christ, and in understanding God's design for our lives. We have a robust Sunday School program and we encourage smaller, discipleship groups. Check in at the Welcome Desk to find out more about Sunday School for all ages.

Serve: Living lives that reflect the ministry of Christ by showing love and selfless acts of kindness and generosity. While you are here, you will encounter members who are glorifying God by using their spiritual gifts to serve Jesus, the church, and our neighbors. We encourage you to find out more about how you can serve with us!

Replicate: Imparting the faith to our neighbors and future generations. Jesus calls his followers to pass on their faith in him by making disciples (Matthew 28:18-20). We would love to tell you more about how we replicate our faith through discipleship.

Our Mission

Our mission at Wilkesboro Baptist Church is to lead our neighbors and the nations to follow Jesus.

We accomplish this mission by taking four intentional steps:

WORSHIP | LEARN | SERVE | REPLICATE

Our preaching style is expository. You can watch and listen to sermons online here.

  • What are your core beliefs?

Our core beliefs are founded on the gospel and Scripture. We believe that people are saved by grace through faith in the gospel - the good news that Jesus gave his perfect life as a sacrifice for our sins and raised from the grave to conquer death. We believe that Scripture is God's inerrant and infallible Word.
