Our Weekday Preschool ministry is a Christian, half-day preschool program that meets
Monday through Friday (September - May) and seeks to meet the needs of our students
cognitively, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.  We serve students,
ages one through five, and their families on the campus of Wilkesboro Baptist Church.

We are seeking preschool staff members who are followers of Christ, have early childhood
education experience (preschool/childcare), and understand learning through play.

WEEKDAY PRESCHOOL DIRECTOR
The Weekday Preschool at Wilkesboro Baptist Church is actively seeking a part-time Director who will oversee the daily operations and administration of the Weekday Preschool ministry.  The ideal candidate will be a follower of Christ, have early childhood education experience, and leadership skills.  The responsibilities of the position include the relational management of staff and students, ensuring a healthy and safe preschool environment, and reliable patterns of communication.  Application to position is currently closed for interviews.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS

The Weekday Preschool is currently hiring substitutes for all classrooms.  An ideal candidate will be a follower of Christ and have experience working with preschool-age children, with the flexibility to be on-call as needed during the school year.  Substitutes are coordinated at the earliest knowledge of a staff member being out and fill in by assisting in the daily work of the classroom.
